There is a certain toxicity to the OS debates that tend to happen whenever a new release is launched. And I agree with you, the whole "we had it first" thing is tired and makes no sense. Everyone copies and iterates on one another so why not just appreciate a good bit of software. I have been pretty happy with the Pixel Android experience myself but that doesn't mean that iOS 14 is bad, it's a great update for iPhone users!
