As a basketball fan, I have always enjoyed the NBA Summer League. It serves as an appetizer for the upcoming NBA season, a chance to see some young talent show that they belong as professionals. The games are quick and fast-paced and feel very pure for a basketball junkie like myself.

Now as a Knick fan specifically, Summer League has always felt like the moment when you have a lottery ticket and you’re anxiously watching the nightly drawing on TV. This is because for years we as a collective fan base have been watching a team that toiled in mediocrity. And every Summer League was a chance to see the next alleged savior of this franchise that we love so much. This year, however, it was different to watch Summer League as a Knicks fan. This year the Knicks are coming off a successful campaign that featured a team that built a winning environment and has a plan. So this Summer League was about development as opposed to catching lightning in a bottle. Let’s take a look at 6 young Knicks and what we can expect of them after their Summer League Performances.
