Overcoming Adversity: How Keegan McCormack-Reamer Found His Way to Arena Football One
A quarterback’s arrival with a new team and a new league that shows us the power of perseverance and belief while reinforcing why we love sports so much
The concept of desire in sports is one that has been overused by players and coaches alike. “Wanting it more” than your opponent is something that we are accustomed to hearing from the winners of a game or a championship. The idea that they were more motivated to accomplish a goal than their opponents is something that looks great as a quote and improves the perception of the person that is saying it.
Cliches are often part of the deal when it comes to covering and watching sports. Until you encounter someone that has lived it and you realize the power that this belief has. His name is Keegan McCormack-Reamer and his journey to AF1 has been frustrating, eye-opening, and filled with desire.
