I often laugh at the comment threads that you mentioned because people just get so territorial with their smartphone of choice. Personally, I've used iOS and have enjoyed the experience but I use so much Google stuff that Android makes more sense for me. I will say though. Android has gained more polish over the years but still not quite the Apple standard. The difference is not as vast as it used to be though
