An Ode to LG V60: The Best Phone I Ever Owned

In my adult life, I have owned a lot of phones. I often say that some people like to try new shoes and others have vinyl record collections, I just happen to like trying out a variety of phones. I have owned over 100 phones in the near two decades that I have owned phones. The reason for this is that I have always been fascinated by the development of the smartphone over the years and am always eager to see what phone makers are cooking up in their labs.

Despite having used so many devices I often find it hard to pinpoint phones that I truly loved using. There are a few that stick out like the iPhone 6 Plus, the first iPhone that I truly enjoyed using. The HTC U11 was another favorite of mine due to its design and Sense software experience that I adored. But it had been a few years since there was a phone that I was just enamored with. All of that changed when I picked up the LG V60 last year. This phone has been my faithful companion and has been a joy to use. But as LG has decided to pull out of the phone market, and the future of software support for this phone remains unknown I am left to reflect on my favorite phone ever made.
